Costumes, Pumpkins, and Community: Our Fall Festival Is Almost Here

Carved and painted jack-o'-lanterns on a plaid tablecloth at the Roseville Ranch Montessori Fall Festival

Fall is a special time at Roseville Ranch Montessori. The weather begins to change, pumpkins appear on porches, and our families have another chance to slow down and enjoy time together on the ranch.

Our annual Fall Festival will take place on Friday, October 23. The school day will end early at 3:00 PM, and the festival will begin right away with a Halloween costume parade.

An Afternoon Made for Families

After the parade, families can enjoy face painting and Halloween-themed carnival games. Children will get to try activities like knocking down a tower of little ghosts and tossing rings onto a witch's hat.

We'll also have popcorn and a few playful fall snacks. Even the food will be dressed up for the occasion, with tangerines turned into little jack-o'-lanterns and cheese sticks decorated like ghosts.
It's meant to be a relaxed afternoon where children can play and families from the Farmhouse and Cottage can spend time together.

Bring Your Family's Pumpkin Creation

Our pumpkin carving contest is always a fun part of the festival. Families can carve a pumpkin together at home and bring the finished creation to the event.

Everyone attending will have a chance to vote for their favorites in two categories:

  • Silliest pumpkin

  • Scariest pumpkin

Whether your family makes something spooky, funny, or a little bit of both, we'd love to see it.

Growing Our Community

Events like our Fall Festival are about more than games and costumes. They give families time to get to know one another beyond the usual conversations at drop-off and pickup. That warm sense of belonging is an important part of life at Roseville Ranch.

We're grateful for the families and volunteers who help make these afternoons possible, and we can't wait to celebrate fall with all of you.

Please RSVP so we know your family will be joining us.
